Accusations are stressful issues for an RN or LVN, except when a reliable nurse attorney assists you against the case. The Texas Board of Nurses is responsible for all hearings against RNs and LVNs undergoing a case that may revoke suspend or only discipline their license. Take note that nurse attorneys can also defend a nurse’s license against accusations.

On or about June 13, 2016, while employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a medical facility in Laredo, the LVN misappropriated six Levaquin tablets belonging to the facility and patients thereof, in that when she was confronted about the missing medication by the Director of Nursing she admitted to taking the Levaquin tablets.

The LVN’s conduct was likely to defraud the facility and patients thereof of the cost of the medications.

The LVN denies the allegations filed against her. However, she failed to hire a nurse attorney to help her with her case. Because of this, the Texas Board of Nursing suspended and disciplined the LVN.

Any type of accusations or negligence can be defended, as long as there is a skilled nurse attorney ready to assist you during the hearing before the Board of Nursing. The Texas Board of Nursing has full jurisdiction regarding cases that may affect an RN or LVN’s license from suspension, disciplinary action or revocation.
