Then on or about March 8, 2019, while employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at a hospital in Waco, Texas, the RN obtained medication from Wal-Mart through the use of forged, falsified, unauthorized, fraudulent, and or telephonically communicated prescriptions for Robaxin 500mg sent in under a Physician assistant’s name w/out her prior knowledge.
The above action constitutes grounds for disciplinary action in accordance with Section 301.452 (b)(1)&(10), Texas Occupations Code, and is a violation of 22 TEX. ADMIN. CODE.
After the investigation and the statement given by the RN, the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) has decided to take disciplinary action and disciplined the RN’s license.
