In response to the incident, the LVN states this was her first nursing job and due to her lack of experience and training there were things she did not know, and she trusted the report she had received from the more experienced off-going nurse. She states she had three (3) days of orientation and was not informed that the facility had a Medical Director that could be contacted in an emergent situation.
