There was no damage to either vehicle and she decided to let things be. She was very shaken up as well and decided not to push the issue and drove home. Over a year had passed and she was returning from an assignment in New Mexico.
Local police came to her home to inform her she had a warrant for her arrest. She was driving a Toyota Tacoma and there was a safety recall for the throttle being stuck under the floor mat. A plea bargain was made by the DA.
Due to these events, the Texas Board of Nursing found her guilty and her RN license was put into danger.
