Any nurse who faces any cases they wish to deny should hire a nurse attorney to strengthen their defense. Professionals help can provide a better form of defense against the Texas Board of Nursing as an RN or LVN faces an accusation of any charges they never committed. This is just one of the many cases the RN from El Paso should have known had she only hired a nurse attorney to help her.

On or about May 1, 2016, through February 16, 2018, she practiced as a Registered Nurse without a valid license. Board records indicate that her license expired on April 30, 2016, and was not renewed until April 24, 2018. Her conduct deceived residents, their families, fellow caregivers, and the public in that they believed Respondent’s nursing practice was in compliance with all Board Rules and Regulations.

In response to the case filed against her, the RN states she must correct the actions by stating that after discovering the delinquency on February 14, 2018, she was placed on immediate suspension from her position. After a two week period, she discussed with her immediate supervisors and willingly submitted her resignation on March 5, 2018. She has not been employed since.

As for the charges against her that state she practiced without a valid license and proceeded to fraudulently care for people of this community, she stated that due to the fact that she never received a second correspondence after she was notified that she had submitted the incorrect form, she mistakenly assumed that the matter had been settled. She declare that this was nothing but ignorance on her part, because like many nurses, she does not constantly check the status of her license after the renewal date.

The Board of Texas has full jurisdiction over all cases regarding RNs and LVNs who committed any forms of offenses. They are also the ones holding decisions whether the RN or LVN’s license has to be suspended, revoked, or disciplined. Therefore, the Board decided to summon the LVN for a hearing to defend against the complaint filed to her – this is the part where a nurse attorney should be hired.

Serious offenses may compromise your career, which is why a Texas nurse attorney could provide you the best help against these issues. If you have any valid reasons, you may refer to a nurse attorney to provide further defense against your case.
